G37 Body Kits
The Infiniti G is an entry-level luxury car / mid-size car and coupe produced by Nissan's Infiniti division. The first two generations of the Infiniti G (P10 and P11) were based on the Nissan Primera and were originally compact executive cars, while the third generation (V35) of the Infiniti G were based on the sportier Nissan Skyline platform. In its latest version (V36) the Nissan FM platform used for the 2nd gen G cars has shared components with the Infiniti M and also underpins the 350Z and the Infiniti FX models.
A bodykit is a collection of exterior modifications or car accessories to a car, typically comprised of front and rear bumpers (fenders), side skirts, spoilers and sometimes front and rear side guards. There are many companies that offer alternatives to the original factory appearance of the vehicle. Body kits components are designed to compliment each other and work together as a complete design. Despite this, the 'mix and match' approach is often seen on cars, where the front of one body kit will be matched with the rear of another for example.
Understand that car body kits can include ground effects - typically an air dam and side skirts - that fit around the bottom edges of a vehicle and alter the airflow to improve down force. They also make a car look lower to the ground.
Note that kits can also include a wing or spoilers. A front spoiler is commonly positioned under the front bumper to reduce aerodynamic drag. A rear spoiler is used to create down force to help increase traction during acceleration.
